Welcome to Haydn Gear online

I was fortunate enough to have been born in the market town of Abergavenny in South Wales where I spent my childhood and youth. Abergavenny is surrounded by spectacular scenery and the ‘Black Mountains’ and the Brecon Beacons along with fascinating valley towns such as Merthyr, Blaenavon and Brynmawr are only a stone's throw away. These early childhood memories may account for my long standing interest in the Welsh landscape, both natural and man made.
